ABOUT THE FILM
Astral: The Netherworld is a commercial film. It's a relatively low-budget (under US$ 5 million), supernatural horror film with action and sprinkles of humor.
The movie taps into a spiritual reality of the drug world, the psychological aspects of the characters, while engaging the audience in a fast-paced rhythm, but allowing for the development of the characters. Give the horrific epidemic we sadly face, today, and having lost friend to this vice, the writer felt compelled to write and direct a film touching this subject, in a scary manner.
